  Roughly the size of a lunchbox with just volume and tone knobs. Somehow, that’s all you need. Plug in and feel the lightning hit the room as legendary riffs are born. It’s the tiniest huge amp you’ll ever play.

• Roebuck (Valco built)

  Like many other department store amps of its time, this unbranded amp was built by Valco in Chicago and has a Supro inside. This riff machine looks a bit like a toaster and absolutely brings the heat. 

• Silvertone Twin Twelve
  17 KEMPER PROFILES AND TONEX CAPTURES AND 2 TONE MATCHED IR’S FOR HELIX PLATFORMS
  This amp feels like it was made from cardboard and modified Fender guts, but it’s a sacred overdrive that you can hear on countless iconic records and is one of my top ten favorites. The JHS Twin 12 was based on this exact amp.

• Gretsch Octal (Valco built)
  3 KEMPER PROFILES AND TONEX CAPTURES AND 1 TONE MATCHED IR FOR HELIX PLATFORMS
  This Octal tube amp shines in the studio when you need something different. Though branded as Gretsch, it was built by Valco. I dimed it with a Telecaster while tracking rhythm guitar, and it sucked out all the air in the room in the best way.
